The reason for this development is the always existing mechanical problem which is - in spite of using fantastic racks – basically present. This concerns both audio- and visual-equipment.
Resonances and vibrations – caused by agitation and/or airborne sound - which excite the products up to the particular components and that will lead to an unclean and falsified signal.
d.C.d. means “deCoupling damping“. This means a combination of decoupling and damping technologies in a new kind of underlay foot, which helps you to damp resonances as well as to decouple in an optimal way the product from the underground. This happens without any displacement of resonances into acoustic agreeable regions or a reduction of dynamic. Loss of dynamic is – in nearly every case – the result of such damping measures.
The feet consist of two special aluminium elements. The upper part is additionally combined with a special acoustic damping material in order to reach a damping and elimination of resonances.
Between the two aluminium-elements there is a complex special mesh, which cares for an ideal decoupling from the underground. The lower part is additionally decoupled from the underground by a felt wheel.
The result shows: The sound becomes cleaner, more structured and better to hear through, distortions and uncleanings are considerably reduced, the dynamic (the rough and mainly the fine-dynamic) will be increased and the sound pattern disconnects completely from the boxes.
We kindly ask you to take care that there are differences between the particular products: the result of one and the same measure can differ from product to product. The housing conception and e.g. the mechanical build-up of each component hereby play an important role.
